Ma petite pochette d'aiguilles.

Ça y est !!! 

La rentrée...c'est fait!

Le temps pour moi commencer en douceur ce mois de Septembre.

Et un peu comme les écoliers qui ont de nouveaux cahiers, je commence mon année avec du nouveau.

Ma pochette d'aiguilles avait besoin de prendre sa retraite (une bonne excuse pour la remplacer par une au gout du moment). Pas qu'elle soit usée...non! mais j'avais envie de changer...les couleurs, le rangements et de me faire quelque chose un peu plus dans le style romantique et fleuri.

J'ai donc sorti une petite pelote de Cotton Light de chez Drops couleur bleu clair, un petit carré de tissus fleuri dans le style de Cath Kidston et quelques petit ajouts comme une fleur en cotton light rose faite au crochet et un beau bouton en bois.

Tout fait main avec un point de damier pour le tricot et une bordure en dent de chat, un point de couverture pour coudre le tissus au coton

Et VOILÀ!

GO back to School! DONE!!

That's the time for me to begin this September with sweetness!

Like students, I like to have new things, like new book or new pens, and this is my GO back to Work!

I had a needle case before, it is not used and big enought for my sewing needles. but I wanted new things, a new case with a romantic, and flower fabric touch.

So I pick up some Cotton light from Drops, a flower fabric like those from Cath Kidston and little details as a wooden button and a crocheted flower.

I used 2 differents patterns for knittng and made a blanket stitch to sew the fabric to the case.

ET VOILÀ!!

Bonnet fille!

La semaine dernière, je vous montrais un petit aperçu du bonnet garçon en jacquard ou "fairisle" .

Cette semaine, je vous montre la version fille du bonnet de l'hiver prochain!

Du moins, le début du bonnet!

En jacquard...biensur!

Du gris, du rose, du prune...un beau mélange pour un hiver tout doux!

Et avec un pompon fait par mademoiselle!

Je compte bien vous monter les deux bonnets finis bientôt...le temps de mettre par écrit les patrons.

En attendant, je vous souhaite une bonne rentrée scolaire!

Last week, I showed you the boy version of the next winter hat!

Well, this week, I show you the girl version! 

With fairisle design as I am in love with it!

I figure it is really a north thing! 

I think the north is part of my life now!

I pick some grey, pink and dark pink\purple for a sweet touch.

with a pompon of course!!

I will be able to show you the both hats soon with the written pattern!

Petit aperçu!

Bonjour tout le monde!

Voici un petit aperçu de mon travail du moment!

Vous connaissez mon goût pour le " Fairisle" et j'ai remis ça cette année encore pour les bonnets des enfants...

Celui en cours est pour mon garçon.

Je reste dans les classique comme toujours avec des couleurs sombres qui une fois dans la neige paraîtront plus lumineuse.

La pelote rouge sur la photo n'est pas rouge en fait, il s'agit d'un rouille.

deux tons de bleu et deux tons de brun et voilà le travail!

même le pompon est prêt!

je dirais presque vivement l'hiver!!! 

Mais je vais plutôt retourner à mon tricot  au soleil et sous un beau ciel!

Hello everybody!

Here is an overview of my work time!

You know my taste for "Fairisle" and I did it again this year for children  ...

The current one is for my boy.

I stay in the classic as always with dark colors that once the snow appear will be  brighter.

The red ball in the photo is not red in fact,  is a rust.

two shades of blue and two shades of brown and that's work!

even the pompon is ready!

I could say I wish to see winter !!!

But I'm going back to my knitting under the sun and under a beautiful sky!

My Sweet candy Cowl...the pattern and the gift!

My sweet candy cowl...c'est le nom de mon nouveau patron au tricot.

Un petit col pour les premières journées de fraîcheur.

Sweet candy en souvenir des collier de bonbons qu'on avait autour du cou et qu'on croquait perle par perle quand on était enfant!

Tout d'abord, j'ai craqué pour la couleur de cette laine: un beau rose avec des reflets plus foncés et plus clairs ...et puis par sa qualité: du mérinos...et puis par le fait que c'est teinté à la main.

Et une pelote de cette laine est suffisante pour réaliser un projet comme celui-ci.

La laine en question est disponible ICI dans la Boutique de Paula.

Les pelotes de qualité Windfall lake ooak sont idéales pour faire ce cowl!

On y ajoute de beaux gros boutons en bois de 6 cm de diamètre et le tour est joué!

Et comme je suis fière d'avoir pu tricoter avec une laine teintée qui vient de pas trop loin de chez moi .... let's go pour Acheter Local ;)

My sweet candy cowl ... that's the name of my new  knitting pattern.

A small treat for the first cool days.

Sweet candy in memory of candy necklace that was around our neck and we loved to eat pearl by pearl when we were kids!

First, I fell for the color of the wool: a beautiful pink with darker and lighter highlights ... and then by its quality: merinos ... and that is hand dyed.

And a ball of wool that is sufficient to knit a project like this.

 This Wool is available HERE in Paula's shop.

Windfall lake ooak quality is ideal for this cowl!

I added 2 big wooden buttons 6 cm in diameter and voila!

And as I am proud to have knit with dyed wool that comes from not too far from home .... let's go for Buy Local;)

Shawl pattern / Patron de châle......" Frizzle sizzle Pansy"

Déjà à la moitié du mois d’août...et un super projet à vous proposer pour les soirées fraîches ou pour les premières journées froides de septembre.

Je vous présente le " Frizzle sizzle Shawl" ou Châle en français!

Je l'ai appelé ainsi par rapport aux fleurs..les pensées Frizzle sizzle (allez voir ces belles photos!!) qui sont toutes frisées sur la bordure ce qui les rend encore plus belles selon moi...mais ce qui m'attire dans les pensées en générale, ce sont leurs couleurs.

On y retrouve des mix de couleurs totalement amusant parfois avec 4 couleurs.

Cela m'a inspiré pour créer ce châle tout simple avec quelques motifs avec l'effet dentelle et une bordure toute fine pour rappeler l'effet des frizzle sizzle.

Tricoté en aiguille toutes fines, ça donne l'impression au châle d'être tout feutré..ou peut-être est ce la sorte de laine..(j'utilise souvent de l'alpaga pour mes gros morceaux qui vont dans le cou... c'est doux, c'est chaud et pourtant c'est léger) 

Tricoter un châle parait à vue d'oeil, une de affaire difficile...pourtant le principe du châle est simple, il faut tricoter en triangle et j'ai écrit le patron rang par rang pour encore plus faciliter l'accès au débutant en matière de châle.

3 - 4 pelotes de laine fine style drops alpaca, des aiguilles circulaires 3.5 mm (4 us), 4 marqueurs de mailles et le patron qu'on trouve sur :

En tout cas, associé avec un rouge à lèvres et un vernis dans les même tons, ce châle coloré va prolongé un peu l'été tout comme les véritables pensées qui fleurissent longtemps encore jusqu'en automne.

Already At the mid of August ... and a great project to wear for cool evenings or for the first cold days of September.

I present the "Frizzle sizzle Shawl" !!! 

I called it as compared to the flowers..Pansies:  Frizzle sizzle (check out these beautiful pics !!) which are curly on the edge which makes them even more beautiful in my opinion ... but what attracts me in pansies in general, are their colors.

color mix found there totally fun sometimes with 4 colors.

This inspired me to create this simple shawl with some patterns with light lace effect and any thin border to remind the effect of sizzle frizzle.

Knitted with thin needles , it gives the impression to the shawl to be all felted..ou perhaps this is the kind of wool .. (I often use alpaca for my large pieces that go in the neck ... it's sweet, it's hot and yet it is light)

Knitting a shawl seems visibly a difficult case ... in fact,  the way to knit it  is simple, you haveto  knit a triangle and I wrote the pattern row by row to further facilitate access to beginner who wants to knit a shawl.

3-4 balls of wool fine style drops alpaca, circular needles 3.5 mm (4 us), 4 stitch markers and the pattern found on:

Anyway, associated with a lipstick and a polish in the same tones, colorful shawl is extended a little summer as the true pansies that bloom a long time until autumn.

New Wool and summer things!

Instagram est une formidable source de plein de choses..

Pour ma part, j'aime beaucoup les photos qui se rapportent au tricot...

Alors quand je vois quelque chose qui me plait...je m'abonne...

Et j'ai trouvé cette belle laine qui vient de Bayviewfiberarts une artiste qui teint la laine ... alors vite fait une visite à sa boutique Etsy...

Surtout...surtout que la laine est très belle.

Les teintes sont magnifiques, et la qualité est vraiment au top.

J'ai donc reçu cette superbe laine 'Charming Pink' en Mérinos.

J'ai pas attendu longtemps avant de tricoter ce trésor de laine... 

Vivement que mon projet soit fini et que je vous montre le résulta final et que je vous propose le patron!

En attendant, je profite de ce bel été...et de tricoter.

And I found this beautiful wool that comes from an artist who dyes wool Bayviewfiberarts  ... then a quick visit her Etsy shop ...

Especially ... especially  when the wool is very beautiful.

The colors are beautiful, and the quality is really at the top.

So I received this beautiful wool 'Charming Pink' Merino.

I have not waited long to knit this treasure ...

I can wait for that my project is finished and I show you the final result and I propose the pattern!

Meanwhile, I relax in the garden during this beautiful summer ... and I knit.

Mes petits sachets de Lavande.

Un  petit vent de fraîcheur souffle en ce moment chez nous!

Même si des grosses chaleurs sont annoncées pour les prochains jours, il reste que les soirées et les matins sont frais.

Un bonne excuse pour se faire de bons gâteaux pour accompagner le thé!

Une bonne occasion aussi pour confectionner de petits sachets de lavande en tout genre!

Des berlingots, de simples sachets ou encore des coussins....

Et même si la lavande est une fleur de l'été, n'empêche que son parfum est frais!

Accrochés au serrures de fenêtres, en plein courant d'air, ces petits sacs de lavande diffusent leur parfum dans toute la maison.

Encore un beau projet couture accompli (rien de bien compliqué remarquez!).

Mais beaucoup de plaisir à le faire!

A small Fresh wind is here at the moment with us!

Although hot weather is announced for the next days, it remains that the evenings and mornings are cool.

A good excuse to make good cakes to accompany the tea!

Also a good opportunity to make small lavender bags of any kind!

...simple bags or pillows ....

And though lavender is a flower of the summer, its scent is fresh!

Clinging to the window locks, full of air, these small lavender bags spread their fragrance throughout the house.

Another beautiful sewing project done (nothing complicated notice!).

But a lot of fun doing it!

This new Blanket!

Tout est parti de mes rideaux de salon et de mon gout pour les couvertures en laine faites mains.

J'avais fait il y a deux ans déjà une couverture en crochet avec tout plein de couleurs.

Mais là, j'avais envie d'accorder un peu plus la couverture du salon aux rideaux.

J'ai donc acheté des pelotes Special Dk de Stylecraft qui sont super pour des projets de ce genre.

J'ai trouvé les couleurs que je retrouve dans ces fameux rideaux, et j'ai commencé à crocheter!!

J'aime le coté porcelaine chinoise que ces couleurs me rappellent.

Je commence par un rond au centre et je fini par un carré.

Je fais de petits carrés pour donner une certaine finesse à la couverture et ça y est je suis déjà amoureuse de ce modèle!

Everything started from my living room curtains and my taste for handmade wool blankets.

I did it two years ago already:  a crochet blanket with lots of colors.

But then, I wanted to give a little more importance to the curtains.

So I bought the balls Special Dk Stylecraft of which are great for such projects.

I found the colors I found in those famous curtains, and I started to crochet !!

I like Chinese porcelain side these colors remind me.

I begin with a round in the center and I ended up a square.

I make small squares to give a certain fineness to the blanket and that's it I'm already in love with this pattern!

Shawl Time !

Un pause tricot-thé bien mérité!

On a un temps magnifique...assez chaud et ensoleillé pour profiter un peu de notre terrain.

Après avoir travaillé comme une acharnée dans le potager, je me suis accordée une après midi repos- tricot- thé et gâteau.

Les enfants profitent du bac à sable pour faire une reconstitution de la guerre de sécession...quand à moi je me bat avec mon châle.

Tout allait bien jusqu'au moment où une maille manquait à l'appel!!

Un petit rien: j'avais tricoté deux mailles ensemble là où il ne fallait pas...mais quelle horreur quand il a fallu démonter deux rangs!! 

Déjà que je déteste démonter un rang alors 2 sur une laine fine et des aiguilles circulaires...Merci bonjour!

Bon ...la bonne nouvelle c'est que j'ai rattrapé le coup!!

Et c'est reparti comme en 40!

Je suis complètement accro au tricot du châle!! 

Je voyais toujours ça comme une montagne même si je n'en suis pas à mon premier châle! et finalement, le processus est simple quand on a compris le principe.

J'ai commencé ce châle avec une laine Drops Purple Violet Mix, en alpaca.

et à l'image des violettes / pensées de mon jardin, je suis passé au jaune un peu moutarde....un bel assortiment.

Alors j'ai sorti mon plateau en fer chiné dans une boutique aux USA, mon thé et un délicieux Brownie ( nouvelle recette du site meilleur du chef :  ICI  ), mon tricot pour une après-midi tranquille.

Et ce ne sont pas ces demoiselles les fleurs du jardin qui vont me contredire!

A well deserved break-knit -tea!

It was a wonderful time ... quite warm and sunny to enjoy some of our land.

After working as fierce in the garden, I granted myself a rest-knitting- afternoon tea and cake.

Children enjoy the sandbox for a reenactment of the Civil War ... as for me I fight with my shawl.

All was well until a stitch was missing !!

A little thing: I knit two stitches together where it was not necessary ... but what horror when I had to dismantle two rows !!

first ...I hate disassemble a row then 2 of a fine wool and circular needles ... thank you! Goodbye!

Well ... the good news is that I caught it !!

Here we go again !

I'm totally addicted to knit the shawl !!

I always saw it as a mountain even though I'm not at my first shawl! and finally, the process is simple when you have the idea in your mind.

I started this shawl with a wool Purple Drops Purple Mix, alpaca.

and like the violets / thoughts of my garden, I went to a little yellow mustard .... a nice assortment.

So I pulled out my iron plate found in a shop in the US, my tea and a delicious brownie (new recipe of the best chef: HERE  it is a french site but the recipe is in english too!!), my knitting for a quiet afternoon.

And these are not the girls garden flowers that will contradict me!
